Join us for a Sunday Afternoon Visit to the Museum of London. If you want to learn about London, both past and present, then the Museum of London is easily the best location. The museum tells the story of one of the worlds greatest cities and its people. It contains more than two million objects in its collections and attracts over 400,000 visitors per year. The Museum has recently entered a new era with the launch of several new multi-million-pound galleries of Modern London. The museum has free entry.
Please note that this is a general visit to the permanent exhibitions rather than a verbal guided tour.Once inside, members can either stay with our group or explore the museum by themselves.
At exactly 3:30 pm we will meet outside the main entrance again and then members have the option of joining us at a nearby bar/pub for drinks and a chat.
The closest tube stations are Barbican and St Paul's. The museum's entrance is located on a pedestrian high walk which can be reached by stairs, escalators or lifts from Aldersgate Street; London Wall or St Martin's-le-Grand.
Please ensure you take my mobile phone number - 0757 8360117. Although my phone will be switched off when we enter the actual museum.
In the meantime, if you have any queries then please do not hesitate to contact us by email through this website (click on my name, Martyn, and just choose the option to send an email).
