Beatles Yellow Submarine Tour Under the river Thames - Anyone interested?

Hi Folks,

We're contacting members to assess whether there is any interest in booking advance tickets on the Beatles 50th Anniversary 'Yellow Submarine' Tour under the river Thames.

There are 49 seats/places on this refurbished 1930's S-class submarine. This promotional tour is inspired by the Beatles psychedelic number one single named 'Yellow Submarine'. This fully functioning submarine has been recently painted luminous yellow and specifically revamped into a nightclub for the anniversary. On board there's an amazing stereo sound system, disco-lights, dancefloor, cocktail bar and a DJ playing Beatles hits. The trip is being marketed as 'A Beatles Music Party Underwater'. This underwater trip will last around 2 hours. During our journey the submarine will travel the depths of the Thames from Westminster Bridge to Greenwich. The submarine is huge - 67 metres in length (2/3rds the size of a football pitch). All attendees will also have an opportunity to look through the huge periscope. It's going to be an amazing party.

If there is enough interest we have the option to book the entire yellow submarine just for Friends in London. The trip will take place on Saturday 22nd June and cost around £30 per person. We received a special invite from the Liverpool Tourist Board who are keen to market the trip in London (they'll also be organising a similar event along the river Mersey in Liverpool). The tour will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles first music album, Please Please Me, which was released in 1963.

If you are interested,  please can you reply to this email. We need to gauge the interest before we decide whether or not it's worth putting a large deposit on the tour for our group. This is a great opportunity for everyone. It will be a unique experience and attendees will all be able to say "We all lived in a Yellow Submarine".

kind regards
Martyn and terry
