I am sorry I did not make it to La Farina on Sunday. I had a family emergency. My cousin was assaulted while moving out of Extended Stay America. My husband and myself helped her to safety (my house). Police were called. I have to take her back there in the morning to make out a formal report/complaint. Please forgive me and please come back to our meetup next month.

I'm sorry things went as they did, Patricia. I felt really bad having to walk away as I did, but I absolutely had no choice. I had a responsibility to lead the grp and what you couldn't have known was the grp was not only already ahead of me, but a quick turn off the main trail was coming and it was necessary for me to get there quick to be sure the grp made the turn and didn't start heading into Grand Fondo traffic...cont...

Patricia, you should try to do the ride next weekend if you can. I've done many and they are mostly paths and some beautiful scenery. Takes me to places I've never been.
