    That's terrific!--welcome to the Bengali-French Meetup!
    You will find a lot of familiarity. In reading, Bengali has triangles where Devanagiri has circles (ক and র for example. I hope your computer will display those).

    Surely you would want to know Bengali? (About 40% of vocabulary comes from Hindi or Urdu, and there is a bit of Persian in there too).
