MEET in Denny’s parking lot, SW corner of 1-17 & Bell, 8:00 AM to carpool
This picturesque lake is located in the Granite Dells area east of Prescott. It has trails that wind in, out and over, huge granite boulders, around hidden coves, and to some breathtaking views of this unique lake. The hike is about 5 miles overall with a few short climbs but relatively little elevation gain. This outing has something for everyone: Hiking, a little climbing, dog friendly paths, biking, possible kayaking, and we will BBQ at the local facilities – Remember..... Please bring some meat to burn, your favorite beverage, a chair, etc. - It should be a fun day!
BTW - The park has horseshoes and frisbee golf, too!
Notes: Watch out for photo-radar on SR69 - $2.00 parking per vehicle @ the lake – If not current on your $15 annual dues the hike is $5.00 ca$h–
