When the moon hits your eyelike a big pizza pie, that's Night Hiking.

When you hike down the trail with a cloud at your tail, you’re in South Mountain.

When you act like a fool, thinking you’re real cool, you can stay out all night, it’ll be all right.

Before we’re done with the night, we’ll stop for a bite and a wee bit of wine, all will be fine!

Starting on the Holbert Trail, we will climb to the National Trail, passing numerous petroglyphs along the way.  From there we will head west below the towers to Telegraph Pass and the Kiwanis Trail.  Descending to the Box Canyon Trail, we will turn east back to our vehicles for a 7.6 mile loop.  After the adventure, the survivors will go to a nearby pub for food and refreshments.

Note: Be sure to bring plenty of water, and a good TESTED flashlight or headlight, as we are starting a bit later in the year so to enjoy the moonlight serenade.

Randy put together a wonderful route for this hike - the moon came up right on que to light our way; now THAT'S the sign of a superior hike leader.
Thanks, Randy for organizing the hike, it was a good one!
