MOUNT TRITLE Day Hike - Prescott   Saturday, September 28th

Leader:  Kurt Sedler  ([masked]
 Length:  8-ish miles R/T

Phone:  [masked]
Rating: Easy+ to Moderate-

MEET in Denny’s parking lot, SE corner of 1-17 & Bell, 7:00 AM to carpool -

Elev change:  1,000’ gain/loss

This hike up Trail 65 gives you the best views of Yavapai County and the adjacent
countryside.  Getting to the trailhead brings you through some of the best forest in the area; including Ponderosa Pine, Aspen, and the variety of upper elevation fir trees that can be found in this area.

At one time this used to be the most active mining area around; from panning at
the Hassayampa River to hard rock mining at the Davis Dunkirk Mine.

    Lauren-
We would likely be back at the beginning trailhead about 1-something. If you have somewhere that you need to be I would suggest driving yourself as sometimes/often the hike group will kibitz @ the trailhead and/or visit a local establishment for some sustenance after the hike.
    BTW - Watch those photo-cameras on SR-69.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
