This time of year is perfect for getting out in the desert.  This is an awesome canyon hike!  A beautiful creek encased with towering canyon walls, solitude and abundance of wildlife.  It's close to the valley and a wonderful trail for a day hike.  Be prepared for wet feet!  There are many creek crossings but not above mid thigh.  There are pools to take dip in for members of the “polar bear” club.

An extra pair of shoes/socks left in the vehicle is recommended for after the hike.  We are planning a barbeque after the hike, so bring a dish to share and whatever you would like to grill.  A grill will be provided.

Leashed dogs are OK. Parking is OK - we will NOT park @ the bridge, but about 100/150yds further towards Apache lake where there is gobs of room. We will be hiking DOWN Fish Creek from there. Dogs do not do well in UPPER Fish, above the bridge.

Would this be possible for a water friendly leashed dog?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
