WILSON MOUNTAIN DAYHIKE and/or CABIN WEEKEND - Sedona
Sat - Sun, Oct 29 - 30
Leaders: Roussi Gueorguiev, Erica Kollen ([masked])
Length: 7.6 miles RT
Phone: *Rousi -[masked] or *Erica -[masked]
Rating: Moderate to Strenuous MEET in Denny's parking lot, SW corner of I-17 & Bell Rd, 6:30 AM
Elev. Change: 2200'

You MUST RSVP with the hike leader (by e-mail preferably) no later than Thursday, Oct 27th in order to get the latest updates/information about the hike.

This hike heads straight for some of the most panoramic views in the Oak Creek Canyon/Sedona area. The majority of the 2200 foot climb is packed into the first mile or so of the hike. You'll have more reasons than just exertion to stop and take a breather along this route, however. The views start as soon as you leave the car and they just keep getting better. At the top you'll be rewarded with views that stretch over hundreds of square miles of scenic canyon country and include Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona, and the Verde Valley.
We have reserved the beautiful Crescent Moon Ranch House for the night of the 29th. The cabin has three bedrooms (double bed $65 per couple), enclosed porch and great room offer abundant floor or cot sleeping or you can camp outside. Cost is just $10.00/person. We will have a pot-luck supper on Saturday. Paid Club members have priority - 12 persons max. For cabin RSVP's email or call Roussi

I see that 2 of you have indicated that they are coming just for the day hike and are not staying with us at the cabin. Greg is also a day hiker Are the rest staying in the cabin on Sat night? I already know that Rikki and her family are. Please respond with a comment so I can plan accordingly.

    Ondrea,
If we asume that we start the hike by 9:00 am and the last person gets to the top at 11:30 am, allowing them to rest at least 30 min, we should be able to start heading back down at noon. If you are in a hurry to be somewhere in the afternoon you are free to start heading back earlier that that. Thanks...

Do you know what time you'll be heading back down?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
