Often go hiking and biking in Myles Standish State Forest and wanted to find out more about the park. This year our Friends of Myles Standish Meetup group has been getting out during the week more often.
Myles Standish, of course. There are a lot of great trails in the forest. I'd have to say that some hikes off the marked trails into the northeast part of the park, the pine barrens, have been the most surprising and memorable.
The hills covered with blueberries. Ask me to show you where.
The Friends brings people together to enjoy the magnificence of Myles Standish State Forest, the biggest state park in eastern Massachusetts-- for hiking, biking, nature appreciation, birding, camping, fishing, hunting, skiing and snowshoeing. Join us or suggest an activity if you don't see one listed.
John, Thanks for organizing this trip. Look forward to many more.
John thanks for helping me get to 495 and all your other support on the hike.
John, it was worth the wait for the fire roasted goat! Succulent, tender, tasty! Your time and attention at the fire pit was much appreciated.
I love your photo. Thank you for the chuckle.
See you tomorrow.
Hi, John: Can you give me a "ballpark" time that we probably will be returning to Market Basket parking lot? Also, if I'm the only one who RSVPs, will you still go? Thanks!
I guess I could use your help. Where r these forms?
Hi John, A friend and I are staying in Ptown this week. My friend may not want to do the hike. Would it be ok if I showed up at the beach in Orleans? Don't wait for me if I am not there at 9:45. I would love to do the hike if Konnie is unable to go out.
Thanks for your email.I would love to join all in a hike in the woods. Please I will join you very soon!!!! Donna
Thanks John. All set
