This group is for women from 40  and up who are genuinely looking to establish and cultivate long  lasting positive friendships.   If you've found yourself missing out on close friendships you used to have,  finding it difficult to meet people to create real 'face to face' friendships, would like to expand your circle of friends that is diverse, positive, and fun, then this group is for you! Join Girlfriends for an array of activities for everyone, day trips, flea markets, movies, dinners, walks, art, and more. All that is required is a positive attitude and the ability to let your hair down and have fun. Girlfriends is for like-minded individuals who are interested in going to new places and experiencing new things.  There's truly nothing like going out and enjoying the day or activity with some gal pals.  

Life gets hairy, its not like back in high school or college when friends were a dime a dozen.  Girlfriends come in all shapes and sizes, maybe you have a great husband but your girlfriend pool has dwindled and that isn't a void a husband can fill.  Perhaps you have married couples you socialize with but would also enjoy just hanging out with the girls.  Some of you might be empty nesters, woman without children, divorced, or  just simply want to get out of your comfort zone!

Please note this is not a social group for moms to get together and talk about their kids (no offense please).

All members must make an attempt to RSVP to an event, that includes a YES, NO or MAYBE.   After more than 60 days of inactivity members will be removed (inactivity means no participation in the site and no attempts to RSVP)
