Hey Guys,

Its that magical time when people put on a play for us.  This year the play is As You Like It.

This is usually a very popular event with the rest of the county (as we live in fairfield county which is full of rich white people, who happen to love shakespeare).  So I think the plan is Tim and I, and whoever else wants to, will meet at my place at like 3:00 and then go to the park so we can get in right at 4:00 when it opens and get a good spot either in the blanket only section or the low chair section.  Tim and I will play a vigorous game of rock paper scissors to see who will stay sober and drive us home.  We'll bring some snacks, sandwiches, beer, wine, and cocktails to help pass the time before the show starts at 7:30, so any of you guys can come any time before then and find us.  Try to look somewhat presentable as you will be representing the team (just kidding, you guys ever play sports in high school and your coach said garbage like that, what a joke, but its nice to look somewhat nice, that means your good flip flops).  On the site there is a thing devoted what you can bring and can't and parking and stuff like that, so address that if you have any questions.  i have a blanket to sit on, we probably should bring a few more depending on how many people are coming, so in the comments below say if you can bring a blanket, or what else you are bringing (cheese plate, wine, a working knowledge of the play so you can explain what is going on or a movie that is loosely based on it that you can reference).

Hope to see you there

Realized I'm double-booked. Beautiful day for an outdoor play, too.

Sounds awesome. I can bring a blanket and either chips/salsa or wine.

Also for those of you who don't know the play, I would highly recommend watching Kenneth Branaugh's film version of As You Like It as a companion to the theatre.... if you can handle that much culture :)
