Epping Forest Walk & Raw Vegan Picnic: Take 2
You may remember the last venture into Epping Forest a few weeks ago. Everyone had such a great day out, we are going to do it again. For those who missed out, this is your opportunity to see the Forest's beauty!
This time we will be exploring the interior of the forest, its hidden paths and the forest’s inner beauty where most people do not venture. So let’s get outdoors again, escape pollution and urbanization and explore London's famous ancient forest and beautiful glades. Join us as we explore through the hidden interior of magnificent Epping Forest, a beautiful wilderness stretching from the outskirts of London deep into rural Essex. We are breaking for a picnic lunch of RAW wholesome food and you will be able to use the local facilities.
Spanning two-and-a-half thousand hectares, the forest has attracted national heroes such as Lawrence of Arabia, who once lived by its edge, as well as royalty who came to what was formerly a royal hunting ground as well as notorious highwaymen such as Dick Turpin. Luckily we won't encounter any highwaymen. However, we will see beautiful forest land, meadows, ponds, rivers, streams, bogs, possibly deer and some rare birds as well as some breath-taking scenery. We are also going to try to spot some hidden energy points in the forest.
Where to meet:
We will meet at Loughton Underground Station at 10:45 am which is on the Central Line and is easy to get to. Please note a Sunday service is in operation so it is slightly more intermittent than weekdays. There is a station car park available as well if you are travelling by car to the meet up point. Loughton station is a few minutes’ walk to the Forest outskirts. We plan to leave for the forest at 11am. We will stop for a vegan raw food picnic lunch and a social sit down and then do a further exploration whilst heading on back in a circular fashion.
Everyone is welcome provided they stick to the vegan raw food criteria. Please bring only raw vegan food to consume and share with others (preferably organic produce if possible). Hopefully it will be good weather but please check before hand and bring the necessaries with you if need be (umbrella, waterproofs etc).
