Are you ready to fly through the air with the greatest of ease?

Since we’re having Aaron Johnson, the head coach of the Vancouver Circus School as our guest for the RAA Salon #9, it only makes sense to visit his circus school soon after.

Did you miss your calling? Is there a circus somewhere short a performer because you chose a different path? Attend this event and you’ll get to find out!

This event runs from 4PM (SHARP!) until 6PM.

You'll get to fly on the trapeze while protected by a harness belt. Try out the aerial silks dangling from the high ceiling and the other various hoops and ropes you've seen featured in circus performances. I will also work on some human balancing and stacking, so you might find yourself with someone standing on your shoulders at some point.

The coaches are accustomed to working with beginners, so you'll get an experience that will be designed to fit your personal ability. You won’t be asked to do anything that you don’t want to do. You may be encouraged to try things that might be outside your comfort zone, however.

Just like the last time we did this event, we'll have the entire Vancouver Circus School Facility at our disposal - complete with coaches to help you on the various apparatus.

This is a totally unique experience that allows you to sample a whole menu of circus arts at once. You'd have to sign up for about 4 different classes to get the same coverage. The rate per hour is comparable to what you’d have to pay if you signed up for a full term class.
