I work at Hope Community Church as their web developer and have also worked in the creative agency world in the role of Interactive/Multimed
ia/Web developer as well.
Do you consider yourself a designer or developer?
I'm a developer that started out in HTML and Flash and has now moved more into HTML/Javascript and development for CMS's like Wordpress and Drupal.

Great stuff...I had always known about SVG but I always thought 'Well, I'll probably never need to use that", but to see some real world usage of it was very helpful. The "make your own icon font" was great too. I've always used these, but knowing how to make my own is very cool.

Hey Todd! The Meetup is a potluck so people will be bringing food but probably not everyone. Another member of the group and I will be making a big serving of griot (fried pork) and banane peze (plantains) using group money and we'll have a little "tip jar" type thing out so that people can help support the group food-fund. Bottom line is you should come! Don't let the food thing be a concern. It's a big family!
