WHY ATTEND COMEDY SHOWS ALONE WHEN YOU CAN "MEETUP" WITH US INSTEAD?
Funny Boners of Las Vegas is a group dedicated to the stand up comedy community. If you are a stand up comic or a fan of stand up comedy this group is for you.
At Funny Boners we strive to:
1. Gather regularly to enjoy some good standup comedy.
2. Promote and support the comedians who are performing. The bigger the audience, the better the show.
3. Promote and support venues who invest in standup by providing a great place for comedians to perform. When we find a good comedy spot we must support them so they won't shut down.
Our meetups will include open mic nights as well as stand up comedy shows all around the valley. Some events will be free, some will be low cost, and some may have a higher concert premium. Most events will have a host but some may not (like weekly open mics). Some events may have a pre-show gathering or meet and greets. You never know who may show up!
Two or three people at an event don't quite make it a meetup. A good meetup includes a minimum of 10 people, the more the merrier. When we meetup in large numbers venues become more friendly and offer more to our group. If we come often, they will reward our loyalty.
