Hi! I just moved to NYC from Toronto in Canada. I'm excited about exploring the city and making some new friends
I am vegetarian, so trying new veggie restaurants is of course a good one for me. Any kind of festival. A horseback riding or cycling adventure.
I work in the Fashion industry, currently at Macy's. I just moved here from Toronto. My interests include environmentalism, yoga, indoor climbing (outdoor too, but I've never done it!), craft beer, amongst other things. I also have a big goofy dog.
Toronto! I had lived there for about 11 years. Before that I lived in Ottawa (also in Canada). This is my 1st time living in the USA
I noticed you were interested in Craft Beer groups. Stop by & check out http://www.meetup.com/CraftBeer-NYC/ We run several events a month with a goal of checking out ALL the Best Craft Beer venues in the 5Boros & Beyond!
Lots of event info on our calendar this month, and we have 2 social events coming up. If you're interested in exploring strong ales, or a historic tavern, then stop by and RSVP!
Very happy to have you in the group - hope to see you at a meeting soon!
Hi Mackenzie- Radical Women is definitely an organization whose work focuses on making this city, country and world a better place! Hope you can make it to the special RW meeting celebrating Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender Pride Month on Thursday, June 23 (details on Meetup). --Emily from Radical Women
Sorry I didn't show. Maybe some other time. Steve
Hi Mackenzie, welcome. We have a great group that enjoys a wide-variety of board and card games. Our Wednesday meetup seems to focus more on Euro-style or designer games and our Friday group is more focused on RPG type of games. We won't be having a meetup in July but will resume in August. In the meantime, check out our website: thebrooklystrategist.com for our open game hours in July. I hope you can join us sometime soon.
Hi Mackenzie, I'm somewhat on the fence about tomorrow line dancing lesson. I don't want to go and find out the meetup was a bust. Are you for sure going? Steve
Hey sorry about the jibberish writing. That is what happens when I walk and text.
