Games at the Raygun Lounge!

The Raygun meetup a couple months ago was fun, so let's do it again. :)

The Raygun Lounge is set up specifically for tabletop gaming. They're easy to get to by bus, and street parking is free on Sunday (my advice: take the bus if you can! Parking sucks on Capitol Hill). They have food ($4-$6) and drinks ($1-$5), including beer. Unfortunately, they're 21+; and don't allow outside food or drink.

Let's meetup for an afternoon of games. We'll bring a few of our own, the lounge has plenty, and you're welcome to bring whatever you want to play!

Thanks to everyone who came. It was fun playing games with you all and it was cool hanging out and chatting over burgers afterwards. If anyone has any feedback or ideas just lemme know; I'll definitely be scheduling another Raygun meetup in another month or so.

What? One of the few sundays I don't go to the raygun lounge and there was a furry game meetup there? And I find out about it just late enough to have missed it. *sighs* Well... for those that thought it was fun, if you are a fan of board gaming, I'm usually there on sundays (and sometimes tuesday evenings but it tends to be crowded then). I love board games.

You are strongly encouraged to post an encore meet 4-8 weeks out :). And I'd meet you there casually and we each bring a friend or two any Sunday you suggest, for a small game :)

What kind of table top games? Board, card, miniatures?

    May 13, 2013

    • Porc

Probably board and card games, with a preference toward ones that new people can learn quickly.

I'm not well-versed in tabletop at all... I have Cards Against Humanity, though. That counts, right? :p

    April 30, 2013

    • Aldot

Absolutely; Cards is great for big random crowds. :)

And not being well-versed is no problem. Hopefully I'll get to learn some new ones, too!

  • StarSkunk

I'll throw in a tentative yes for now, but this definitely sounds like fun :)
