Costumes at events

Hello. I have a question that I was hoping the group could help me with. I'm not in a position yet to make (and would rather not buy) a fursuit at this time. I have most of a werewolf costume for Halloween. For the time being, do you think I could substitute that? It is the right time of year. Specifically, the bowling meet Oct 15 and Keeko's ice skating birthday meet on Oct 23 or 24. Hopefully after that I'll be able to make my fursuit. Or at least the head, tail, and paws
