One solution would be to set up your mailing list options to be in the form of a 'Daily Digest'. Then you only get one email a day. At that point you can either skim through it, or ignore it and delete it completely.

Okay guys - please - if something offends you on the internet, just ... say nothing.
Arguing with dalavin is such a wasteful thing to do. He just ... wastes mailinglist time, your time, my time.
I ban him each time, and report him to meetup. It just takes a day or two sometimes. :)
With long threads, all I ask is to please be careful.
There is a vocal minority who prefer to have a quieter inbox. I think there was some truth to the idea that a large thread such as the death / depression support should have moved back to the message board after a point. If you find yourself posting more than "once or twice" to a thread, or it's over 10 or 20 posts... chances are I'm probably receiving e-mails and IMs about it.
To quote an ex-member:
"i would like to be taken off of this... anything that has to do with
furlife.... yall are spamming my inbox and overloading it... in the span
of a few hours i could go from 0 to 36 in my inbox... all from this
group. i do not know how to get off this, but if you know, please take
me off. thank you."
The whole thing's just a bit confusing to me, and ... though I try not to be bothered by it very much - it's weird seeing people quit and me being the only one to know it's happening. I also see our mailinglist membership drop a bit each time any large thread crops up - sometimes just 5-10 people turn it off - and its only sometimes a name I recognize, but it's just something that feels WEIRD to me o.o
Think on it? I'm sincerely not trying to blame anyone for a thing - just describe what happens o.o
