Re: [furries-290] We were in the Seattle Times Sunday

We enjoy playing things up. As many people come to talk to as we are dramatically flopped in some corner (and smiling at the sight) as anyone else.
In showing family members and coworkers outside the fandom, the "aftereffects" pic has been the most popular.

Yeah, rotty was not "collapsed heat-stroked and in trouble", he was "laying down for a rest", but I guess you had to be with us to get the joking tone behind what I say.
He I and Jake all took a sort of sportsman's enjoyment out of pushing ourselves, dancing and having a ball. The regular breaks for water and heads-off is an important part of planning ahead. If you wish to be dancing in suit very much at all, and at "normal pace", you'll start to see the need :3

P.S.

I'm not trying to beat anyone up.  Just plan out what you do.  Fursuiting and being cute is not worth irreparable (or even short term) bodily harm to yourself.

I adore the fact that out of all the pictures they could've used, they picked that one.

If you're suiting so you're collapsing afterwards, and having to stop to pop your head off: UR DOIN IT RONG.

I actually found out through the accountant at work. He's like "hey... I think you were in the newspaper with like your uhh... (head?) yeah, head off...". Still,

A Seattle Times reporters caught part of us from the Birthday Bash Meet and printed a photo in this Sunday's Newspaper.

For a little backstory on the picture and why Star and I looked so tired, It was the end of the meet basically. In the gallery shortly after the newspaper's photo rotty also collapsed in exhaustion. :P

For those that never met him, the last fellow in the picture was our visiting guest-for-a-day Jake who said he wanted to "do that extra something" so that when he returned to Sweden he could one-up the stories his co-woker's US vacation. Good Job man. If you have the guts to show them the paper you can definitely claim that :P

Stay furry everyone!
