Topic: The Future of Energy Abundance

Our presentation will look at the future of energy by focusing on the challenges of global demand trends and plausible breakthroughs and strategies which could lead to a century of energy abundance.

Presenter, Garry Golden, is a graduate of the Futures Studies program at the University of Houston. He is an independent speaker, researcher and strategy consultant based in Brooklyn, NY. In recent years he has led research on road mapping micro-power capabilities for IBM/U.S. Army Logistics Agency, forecasted emerging markets for next generation biofuels with a well known Houston biofuels analyst, and is currently leading research efforts on the future of mobility for the Texas Dept of Transportation.
