The Utopian Future

At the last meetup, someone remarked on how all of the 'Futurist' movies seem to be dystopian. Of course, movies and stories generally require some sort of conflict and resolution, and it's not clear how these would occur in a Utopic environment.

So lets talk about Utopia, and how it would be constructed, and what kind of stories (use cases) could take place in it. Bring your favorite apropos novels, essays, ideas and treatments. If you'd like to suggest some reading, put it in the comments.

Useful to think about past and future utopias and why they were so - and for whom.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
