Boston Futurology & Transhumanism Pages

Technological progress holds tremendous potential, both positive and negative, to improve our world and us as individuals, by increasing wellness, happiness, and freedom. At the same time, there are significant risks, each step of the way.

Transhumanism is a philosophy which promotes the ethical use of technologies to expand human capabilities and well-being.

Because of transhumanism's long view of the future, the implications of transhumanist discussions can get far out and mindblowing, challenging our assumptions of what it means to be human, and what is possible in our lifetimes.

What we do today is setting the course of the future. Let's engage every moment with clear intention. We welcome you for a meeting. You won't leave the same as when you arrived.

Each week we'll take on a new topic of transhumanist interest in a casual and social setting. A five minute introduction will trace its origins to its current state in the world, and then we'll get the discussion going and project ourselves into future possibilities. We look forward to seeing you!
