I want to first say I am very happy you all have chosen to join our group!!
We have a lot of new people so I need to go over the meetup rules.This will be a refresher to you veterans! So I am going over the Meetup rules now.
Meetup says that you are to rsvp to all events you want to attend.If you want to come and the rsvps have closed you can always email me OR THE EVENT HOST, and we will let you know if there is room. All you do is click my picture or the picture of the person organizing and you will see a place to email. I check my email every three minutes LOL. You can also make a comment on the event if the rsvps have closed.YOU ARE EXPECTED TO LET THE HOST KNOW IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT!!!!!!!
If you are a maybe then don't rsvp and then email me, or put it on later when you know your schedule.If you are fairly certain you can make it then rsvp and change as soon as you know. Some events are going to be limited due to the space of the place we are having it. If you rsvp and you can't make it then others will not get the chance.We have alot of members now and we will have to limit many events.
IF YOU FAIL TO CHANGE YOUR RSVP THAT YOU CANNOT MAKE IT OR LET THE HOST KNOW, THEN YOU ARE A NO SHOW.YOU MUST DO THIS BEFORE THE EVENT SO THE COUNT IS ACCURATE FOR THE RESERVATION.
IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 3 NO SHOWS YOU ARE REMOVED FROM THE GROUP.
The organizers and event host work very hard to put on a good event for you. We had trouble recently with a place not giving us a big enough table because of the no show issues. The host also has to worry about the seating and looking for people too,
So anyway thank you for abiding by the meetup rules,

e meetup groups I belong to charge a fee for every event so there will be less people not showing up. I am not going to do that.
Some of you may not know but I am charged a fee to run this site, and I am glad to do it.
Do not show up and hope there is a place, because there may not be room, but if you email and tell me even the day of the event, I can change the reservation and see if there is room.
If you rsvp and you cannot make it then you need to change your rsvp on the meetup site.If you cannot get in there because the reservations are closed then email me.Remember all you have to do is click my picture and then you can email me.
If you do not do this then you are considered a no show. Let's face it is only the polite thing to do when you cannot makes something :)

Myself and my organizers work hard to make good events for you.If you don't show up the organizer haS to constantly look for you and then it ruins their time. When you don't show up then the restaurant gets mad and next time they will not get us the bigger table we need. This happened recently.
If you are an organizer or event planner you need to put in the no shows or email me.
If anyone would like to plan an event I can put you in as an event organizer. You just need to be there and great your guests and make a reservation for the table. You are also expected to put in the attendance and the no shows or you can email me and I will do it. Most of my organizers know the drill :) Thanks for all you do.
