Grow a garden, share your bounty. Post your surpluses and barter with other members. You can trade, sell, or buy plants, seeds, herbs & produce as well as canned, juiced, & dehydrated goods. The beauty is you own what you care for and decide what to do with the harvest, even donate it to the less fortunate. Are you a seasoned professional? Share your tips & tricks! We prefer organic in order to be free of harmful chemicals and toxins. We encourage heirlooms so we can continue to grow our investments. No GMO's please!! As fuel prices rise and the economy continues to struggle, having your own food is one sure way to protect yourself and your family. Getting your local community involved will ease the burden around you and keep more people from standing in bread lines if/when times get bad or a natural disaster occurs and takes grocery stores out of the equation. Building a strong local network is a big part of the strategy. Share the group with friends you know would love to partake. Invite those who are in need of supplementing their food supply & cutting the cost of grocery bills. The larger a group, the better selection for us all and the more success we will have in obtaining variety. The group will continue to evolve and grow to meet the needs of its members and with great ideas from all of you. May your fields or container gardens or your raised beds be bountiful!!

We've recently expanded to include topics related to preparedness and survival skills.  If you have any specific expertise that you'd like to share with the other members, please contact me, Kelly, and we'll arrange a workshop.
