I generally put my plants in the ground... :-) I have a couple of compost piles cooking; strongly encourage all to compost. Will be establishing a raised garden bed in the near future.

I think most folks are going to have more experience & knowledge than I do, although I would be happy to relate my composting experiences.
Not extensive - fortunate enough to have a yard which I'm trying to "landscape" off & on.
Well, as I mentioned above, I'm developing a garden and it would be nice to learn something from folks with more experience & knowledge than myself, ...won't be that difficult; and meet some like-minded folks.
Slowly developing 'the garden' - butterfly, hummingbird, and limited herbs, ...currently. My blessing, and my curse, are two big live oaks that shade 90% of my yard. I've also been doing a little riding for Gainesville Compost since spring.
Thoroughly enjoyed Kory's presentation. It was very helpful to see how he put together the starter cups. Too bad it got dark so soon, would have enjoyed more time for discussion on the topic and related matters.
