What planting/gardening methods are you utilizing currently?

Currently we utilize permaculture techniques interwoven with biodynamic and square foot gardening methods. Organic as much as possible and trying to produce closed loop systems including livestock, cover crops, and woodlot management. Aquaculture and water catchment systems are a big interest.

Which self-sufficiency topic interests you the most?

No answer yet

Can you offer related topic knowledge to contribute to group learning efforts?

What's your experience level in gardening &/or preparedness?

Every day gaining more and more experience and becoming more prepared.

What motivated you do join the group?

Growing community and learning with like minded people is important and has been one of our weak links. Many of us in the preparedness mindset with self sufficient attitudes tend to be isolated and quiet about what we do and why we do it. That is not conducive to growth or safety of our communities and in the end restricts our own growth and ability to support each other. Also looking to make relationships that could lead to work groups beneficial to all. Look forward to meeting folks at the many workshops. THanks for posting about local events its awesome. TIm

Hi I am Tim and my partner Mike and I are from the Ft WHite area. We are both interested in these topics and look forward to sharing with like minded people. We recently finished a Permaculture Design course from the Leon County Extension OFfice .
