Extra Life Edmonton 2013 Launch Event

GameCamp Edmonton is proud to announce once again our partnership with Extra Life Edmonton's charity efforts to support the Stollery Children's Hospital. As such tonight's event is being done in a support of the launch party for this years Extra Life Edmonton efforts and we invite you to join us there to check out the presentation and some great local games that are in development at studios here in Edmonton!

"We Set The High Score. Now Let's Beat It.

With the help and enthusiasm of charitable gamers and local organizations, Extra Life Edmonton raised over $25,000 for the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation during last October's inaugural 24-hour video game marathon at Startup Edmonton.

This year, we're upping the ante to make Extra Life Edmonton a fundraising event like no other. So we at Extra Life Edmonton and GameCamp Edmonton are inviting you to come to the Startup Edmonton space (Suite 301,[masked]
Street) on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. to learn about how you can get involved in this year's event.

Following a brief presentation by Extra Life Edmonton, The Stollery Children's Hosptal Foundation and the Children's Miracle Network, there will be a Q&A and light refreshments.

Come learn how we're making sure every sick child from Western and Northern Canada who enters The Stollery receives leading-edge care.

On November 2nd, 2013, We'll attempt to play an epic 24 hour video game marathon with the goal of raising $40,000 for local kids and it's our sincere hope that you'll find it in your heart to support us by joining our team or making a pledge or one-time gift to any of our gamers that will go directly to the Stollery.

We hope to see you there!"
