Limor,

I just realized that I have family in town the week of the 22nd. So, I’d like to change my vote to the week of the 12th.

Subject: [gamedev-175] Games Gateway: Holiday Event Request for Feedback

Hi everyone,

It has been a while since we last met.  The DCGames Festival took the time that travel allotted me for programs here in DC.

But we are in the holiday season and no better time to get together.  I have been working on something fun to do and wanted to get your feedback regarding dates.

The National Zoo has the ZooLights taking place nightly from December 16-Jan 1.  We also have the opportunity to play one of the mobile scavenger games that Friends of the National Zoo have developed.  It could be fun to do both together.

We would hold the program so that we play the game and then talk with one of its designers, Rachel Meskin, about its development and the other mobile and AR games the zoo is doing.

So here is the question:  What day will work best for you?

If we hold the event on December 22nd in the evening - we can be part of the larger Young Professionals Night which will have other events, and beer and things taking place at the Zoo.   We would have the game and discussion, just the zoo will be more active.

Or we can hold it the week of December 12th and have the game and discussion.

Which would you prefer?

Thank you for responding and look forward to seeing you all in December.

And have a fantabulous T-Day!

Limor
