Indies Discussion and Showcase

I've received enough feedback to know the Courtyard Marriott was a poor suggestion; sorry about that. Cinelli's is the best I can do, folks. Let's try to get one more Meetup in before the holidays. :)

Guys, I'll be a little late for this one, maybe 15-20 minutes. I didn't schedule in advance because there are only 4 of us this time, but letting them know you're with the Indie developers group will help us get seated together quickly. They're familiar with us.

That's a rather comprehensive summary on Kris' part. Yes, we were there, in the enclosure near the back. The staff were also aware of our presence, but it seems they didn't communicate well that night. I regret we didn't have the chance to all sit down together; I'm sure the conversation would have been that much more engaging. I'll make a point to call ahead even with small groups, and we'll see if we can't be a little more coordinated ourselves in the future.

Ah man, sorry about that Justin, I myself got there late and just noticed Brian and Stephen, didn't even think to ask the staff.

It would be nice to get more people involved again, but it was a good meetup. We saw continued improvements in Brian's shooter game, discussed topics ranging from Peter Molyneux's questionable recent game designs to gamification of education and monetization strategies.
