Introduction
I am Unity hobbyist looking to get a little more serious about programming and design. I am currently in the middle of developing my first iPhone game. I have a strong business background (undergrad and masters) from UNC and still live in Chapel Hill
What would you like to do/learn in this meetup
I want to network with other developers in the area to help development of each other's projects. I also want to potentially find partners for a startup sometime in the future (not something to be taken lightly, I would want to fully capitalized with investors and a strong business plan).
What are your favorite games?
I love playing open world console games like GTA and Red Dead. But I love all video games in general, I have had addictions to something as realistic as Heavy Rain to simple flash games online such as Boxhead Zombie Wars.
Which part of game development are you interested in? ie. Programmer, graphics
I am more of a programmer than a graphic artist when it comes to Unity, Flash, et al. As noted above I am very interested in the granular business details of games.
