I don't have as much to talk about this week in terms of construct as I have to do with my own game. Is that all right with you all?

    July 12, 2013

    • George

That's fine, I haven't had a chance to look at Construct

I am in the same position with Android - I have been too busy with "real" work. I think others will have other topics to discuss.

Let's move the meeting up two weeks....I am going to get Tom (a member) to present a discussion on a game he and some Drexel students are creating as a summer project. In addition, I will have more time to work on my Android game.

Some folks mentioned an interest in path finding algorithms in the last meeting. I found an interesting youtube video and a link to an online article: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bspb9g9nTto

A few years ago I created a game for Xbox Indie titled, Fittest. We got a good review from IGN at the time (http://www.ign.com/articles/2009/06/12/xna-communal-shower-vol-19) . Ideally, I'd like to get some help getting it on Steam, perhaps through Project Greenlight. I'm just curious if anyone here would be interested in working with me to get the game onto Steam.
It's basically a Geometry Wars type game, with various music tracks and art themes that change as you play the game. We had a lot of enemy types and power-ups/weapons and a focus on multiplayer. I designed all the bosses you encountered on based on the number of players playing (3 players faced bosses that needed three players to co-operate in order to win, and 1 and 2 player bosses, but 2 players never encounter bosses designed for 3-4 players. A simple response here will work out if anyone is interested. If this isn't that kind of games this board is for, then I apologize.
