Wine & Boardgames

Caution: the mapping websites and GPS units are often wrong. Please follow directions provided.

Admission is free and wine tasting is $8.00 per person. The tasting includes 6 samples of Sharrott Winery’s award-winning wines and a souvenir glass.

Bring food to eat, or plan on popping out for takeout.  I think the winery has a pizza place that will deliver, but I don't know which one it is.

Please bring boardgames for people to play...and keep in mind, this is an outdoor event, even if it is a covered area, so games with lots of small, easily bumped pieces may not be the best choice. Considering the environment, some of the lighter more party-game style games may be the best choice. I will be bringing (at a minimum) Cards Against Humanity, Elixer, and King of Tokyo (figure we will roll dice in the lid of the elixer box).

Important that if people are drinking and will be driving that people are willing to speak up and if needed to take the keys. That said - everyone going should either be a DD or plan on at least doing a tasting of the wine since we would be taking up room at the winery. Most wineries have bottles that you can purchase for either drinking at the winery or taking home and some wineries serve food or at least sell some limited pre-packaged food.

Per NJ laws it is unlawful to consume alcoholic beverages not sold by the winery at a winery...and it is just rude.

Just as an FYI - there is a huge covered area that we will be under, so don't worry about the rain.

Both the Venue and the company were intoxicating. Am leaning towards buying a copy of Elixer for myself. It was fun

My friend Ron sent the following, I have asked him to grab some extra.
Bagliani's (Italian market in Hammonton) is on the way for me. I can bring bread, cheese, olives, prosciutto, salami, tomatoes, basil, burrata, olive oil, salt, pepper, roast peppers. And plates.

Just edited the description so it should be easier to read...not sure how it turned into one massive sister and her dog will be joining us...assuming that the winery says it is okay to bring Cava (the dog's name, not outside wine) with us.
