NYC Gaming December: Demo Night

This is the place to see the newest games being built in NYC andmeet the people who built them.  Each month, we get together to watch six demos, drink beer and eat pizza.  And we're doing it again this month at Microsoft.  Come join our community of game developers, designers, creatives, investors and more building across multiple platforms and genres.

This month's demos include:

Traci Lawson - Taptiles

Mike Weiksner - Tip or Skip

Dat Nguyen - Smart Kick

Vianel Aquino - Waveology

Plus retrospectives from previous presenters Muse Games (Guns of Icarus) and Noah Sasso (BaraBariBall).  Come see their games and hear how they're doing now, including invaluable lessons learned for game developers!

Hey I signed up in the afternoon around 4pm and then the front desk did not allow me to enter as my name was not given. He suggested me getting a refund from you guys. How can I get a refund? Thanks!

Haven't been able to attend in a few months due to night classes, so good to see the community still going strong. I especially enjoyed hearing the follow-up status from demos we had seen this summer -- should do more of those!

I felt there was a ton of good questions from the audience and the presenters did a great job expanding on the questions.

Is it too late to RSVP? I know you need time for the building security list. Thanks!

Who is presenting this month? I think a lot of people are heading out of town for the Holiday.

Is it ok to pay on the night? Mainly as I am international, so would like to pay in cash as opposed to on card

    • Brad H.

Unfortunately not -- building security requires payment via meetup.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
