Announcing a new Meetup for The Pasadena Area Guerrilla Gardening Meetup!

What: Planning in The Park

When: Sunday, July 11,[masked]:00 AM

Arlington Garden
295 Arlington Drive
Pasadena, CA 91105

Hello there Gardeners!

The seed swap at Arlington Park was so enjoyable that we simply couldn?t resist returning for another meetup. In fact, it was such a lovely and relaxing environment that we didn?t manage to get very much planning done, so now is your chance to get in on the fun! Ideally, we will all walk away from this meetup with some clearly defined projects for the future.
I?m sure that in your bouts around the town you have become obsessed with some poor neglected patch of dirt. Plant me! it cries, but you have yet to do so, you need support, you need a team, you need?.The Guerrilla Gardeners!
We are hoping that members will show up to this meeting ready to share their late-night renegade gardening schemes with the rest of us. Planting a patch isn?t so hard, but tending to a garden that is not outside your front door can be a tough job, so if there is a small patch somewhere near your home (or on your commute, or close to a destination you frequent) that you would be willing to tend to periodically, this would be the perfect candidate. We also played around with the idea of canvassing in neighborhoods with neglected parkways. The idea is that if a nearby resident would be willing to keep an eye on a plot, we could plant it and consider it taken care of.
But what are your ideas? Please come and share! I am very excited to meet you all and get some super-duper guerilla gardening projects underway!
See you soon!

P.S. I think at the last meetup we agreed to bring refreshments, you don?t have to, but it certainly wont be frowned upon. : )
