Garland Pawsibilities was originally established in 2005 to garner public support for the building of an off lead enclosed dog park for the northeast Dallas County area.
Interest for a fenced park waned as the City would not commit land for a park right away..but instead of dissolving the organization... the volunteers wanted to continue working with the Garland Animal Shelter to help get as many dogs and cats adopted as possible. In 2005, we started holding off-site adoptions and since 2009 we are holding off-site adoptions at least once per month. Our success rate at adopting out shelter pets is fantastic..come and help us so we can hold more adoptions!
Garland Bark Park is our registered name, Garland Pawsibilities is a dba.
The Garland Bark Park is a 501c3 organization, all donations fully tax deductible.
