Hey guys and gals! It is SO that time to nail things down for our event next month. Sherry has been working on DAP for some time now but, as you know, it takes a pack to pull off such a successful event!
Sherry will be conducting meeting so please keep the following in mind:
Plan on giving details of any of your individual efforts thus far;
Know your schedule and commitment capabilities as well as contacts that could be helpful and immediately accessed;
Only offer ideas and suggestions that you can make happen-(yes, it would be GREAT to have a billboard with Dog-A-Poolooza on 635 but unless you have one in your back pocket and a ladder, PLEASE don't suggest it.) Just sayin...
We are a creative, passionate and chatty bunch so please listen first and talk next (note to self) and be ready to sign up for duties.
Please save discussions on other topics for another time even though it will be tempting!
There will likely be follow up meetings weekly until the event (more often if necessary) to make sure we are accountable and on task (another note to self!)
Flyers, raffle tickets, sponsor letter templates and tax ID forms will be available at the meeting
GPAWS is so lucky to have Sherry take this on and it is a top priority for us as our annual FUNd raising event. Thank you ahead of time for your loyalty and commitment to all we do for the pets of Garland and making this another successful event!
