I always look forward to the meetings. I love the easy going atmosphere. I love talking and listening. I love meeting people from all walks of life. It's a great way to spend a few hours after a stressful week. I give a big thanks to Amanda for organizing such a great group!

Great to find good-sized group of interesting, intelligent, friendly, and humorous conversationalists nearby - in Gastonia, Hickory, or Charlotte. Group has such magnetic draw that Gastonia finally has Charlotte people commuting there for it, instead of the other way around. Excellent! For 'most any thinker, religious or non-religious. Come relax and have a blast!

Really enjoy the conversation. We don't all agree, which is a good thing, but listen and learn from each other.

Because free-thinkers are rare, wonderful people who can grow and thrive even under adverse conditions, but who can truly blossom when giving and receiving encouragement from others of thier ilk.

It's a great mix of interesting people with many interests. I really enjoyed chatting with people knowing I could speak freely and honestly of my views and opinions on life without offending or being offended.

Everyone should join the effort to help us as a species to truly understand the urgent importance of attaining accurate beliefs, and therefore of being willing to share and compare ideas. Belief as an act of obedience will get us all killed. (Well, at least our great grandchildren.) Free thought is most valuable if shared with those who believe differently than oneself. This group has the potential for contributing something of great value to our species.

I would recommend this group to anyone with an open mind about the nature of life on Earth. Great people, good conversation; an all around good time!
