Gold Coast Science and Tech Fair - featuring Hack'nShow

This year, TechSpace is playing a significant part in organising and running the Science and Tech Fair. The event is actually run over 2 days, but Friday is for Gold Coast schools only (from noon until 2pm).

• On Friday, some of us will be presenting tech sessions to the schools attending.

• On Saturday we will be running the Hack'nShow event. This is an opportunity for TechSpace hackers, schoolkids and the general public to show off any tech that they have created to the public attending the Science and Tech Fair. We have been provided with funds from the Gold Coast City Council to award prizes.

On both days, we will be exhibiting some of the best recent tech that our members have created, including our inhouse designed and developed GCDuino range of Arduino microcontrollers, and various products that are controlled by them.

See our web page http://gctechspace.org/2014-hacknshow/ for the latest information, and to enter your tech into the prize competition (from 1/7/14).

Well I de-silo'ed a couple of the best via d/l. We still have a page up there (https://www.facebook.c...), and Study GC like us have FB for max engagement with teens. It's rarely updated, but I posted a couple of Hack'nShow exhibit pics there b4 the day.

A very nice day, even with the small amount of rain. A great crew at the Tech space tent.
