Kinect fun

My Kinect adapter finally arrived, so I can plug it into my laptop / PC!

Anyone else played with one of these yet and got any working software that can do stuff with it?
I am very keen to get up to speed on these and getting some sample code working, for 3d scanning and for motion capture.

Have started looking at the OpenNI site and KinectFusion sites, but would very much appreciate it if someone has already gone through the steps of getting one up and running with examples, to flatten the learning curve.
