Hackerspace move complete + call for collections

From: Steve D.

Following in the footsteps of the co-working space relocation to the Nind St Space yesterday - we managed to move most of the hackerspace component of the Techspace this evening.

HUGE thankyous go to our helpers this evening:

Paul & Conner
David & Ryan
Keryn & Scott

We couldn't have done it without you.

We still need to move the drinks machine, stationery shelves and 1 desk (which we are donating to the supermarket) but apart from that we are mostly done.

On Sunday we will try to dismantle the workbenches and separating wall - wood will be re-purposed and the benches will be moved to the new space and stored for a while until we decide where exactly to install them.

Now - to the reason for this email..... this is still a lot of JUNK at the techspace and also some useful things, but we need your help here. Some of it might belong to members but unless you come to the space and claim it it will either be (in this order):

- given to any other member that expresses an interest in it
- given to lifeline
- recycled or binned

So please come over and get your things - we'll give you to the end of the week to claim it, but after that it will be gone as the space has to be handed back to the landlord. RFID/Phone access will continue until the same time.

If you haven't been down to the new space yet, feel free to come have a look - we think it's pretty awesome.

ps. There are about 6 17" (ish) LCD monitors at the space which we are not taking to the new space, they are all work but are surplus, so if you want one, I am letting them go for a $5 donation to the space - first come first served.
