Interesting, except for the bits where it's not...
As shown at a barcamp and OSDC last year, I can already do slide shows using mind control (mindwave headset), and that's using the raw datastream from the headset in Linux.

MYO will have dev APIs for Win, Mac, Android, iOS.
ARM based controller with accelerometer and haptic feedback, proprietary sensors.
Available late 2013.

I reckon that by that time, we'll have open equivalents.
