You may have noticed that Google Technical Users Group (GTUG) has become the Google Developers Group (GDG).
GTUG organizations all over the world are being encouraged by Google to change their name from GTUG (Google Technology User Group) to GDG (Google Developer Group). This is part of an effort by Google to provide a sharper focus for developers, and is ongoing. More details should be available after I/O in late June.
Google is focusing its outreach to the developers community around the new http://developers.google.com/ site.
Our G+ page has also been updated to reflect the change: https://plus.google.com/104210617698082698436
Sorry for the inconvenience while the developer outreach program is improved.
