Do you want to go to Google I/Oe xtended at Google Cambridge?
Google has reserved a block of spaces for Google Developers Group members to the Google Cambridge GoogleI/OExtended event on May 15,2013 . Unfortunately the number of spaces is far fewer than our 1,200 members.
Its a great event and a good time to network with developers and Google developers.
If you would like to enter the lottery to attend, please fill out this form: Google Cambridge May 15 Google I/O Extended application by Wednesday May 8, 2013 at 5:00PM.
We hope you can attend.
Please find details about the event below:
You don't need to be at
Google I/O to experience some of the I/O magic. We're
hosting a series of I/OExtended events at our North American offices
where we will be streaming the keynotes and sessions from the first day
(Wed, May 15th) of the main event. Attendees will get to network with other talented developers, learn and share ways to create great web apps, meet Google engineers, experience live demonstrations of products built in our local offices, and walk away with some cool swag.
GoogleI/OExtended Cambridge Agenda
**The I/O agenda is not yet confirmed. This Extended schedule is tentative and subject to change. Times are in EDT**
10:30am: Registration Opens
10:30am - 11:30am: Brunch and Demos
11:30am - 12:00pm: Welcome to Cambridge
12:00pm - 3:00pm: Live Streaming of GoogleI/O Keynote Speaker
3:00pm - 9:00pm: Live Streaming of I/O Breakout Sessions
4:00pm - 4:45pm: Live Technical Session
6:00pm - 8:30pm: Reception
There will be breaks between each session.
For the first time, GoogleI/O will feature Ship Wars: Reactor, our own GoogleI/OExtended-exclusive game, where you will be graphically programming a small crew of robots to run your very own starship. At Google Cambridge,
you will be virtually competing against other I/OExtended attendees across North America to make the most efficiently running starship possible. Follow our live leader board during the day, as we track the top ten local performers and top ten winners across all participating offices.
