Also, please mark your calendar for this year's Google DevFestDC on Oct 18th, in Reston. announcement is coming soon.

6:30 to 7:00 - Networking

7:00 PM  Topic: Build Back-end Services for your Android apps FAST with Windows Azure Mobile Services

Description:

Building the next great app, but need a way to store data, provide authentication, and send push notifications? And need it to scale? Windows Azure Mobile Services may be just the ticket. Azure Mobile Services can be created in just minutes, support a wide variety of client platforms (including Android 2.2 and above), provide easy access to push notifications across Google, iOS, and Microsoft devices, and allow developers to configure authentication against Twitter, Facebook, Google, or Microsoft accounts. Mobile Services are also scalable. Start small, and as your app gains popularity, it’s simple to add more instances.

Speaker: Microsoft Technical Evangelist G. Andrew Duthie will show you how you can quickly build a service for your Android app, and leverage this service to solve many common app challenges.

7:50 PM -  Jhoombox Demo - Rashid Moin, CEO, Jhoombox is an Android based content generator (console) that provides a platform to stream movies, surf the internet, play games and even perform karaoke. It will be a open platform for developer to build smart apps.
