The 2013 Global Game Jam is the fifth annual game development 'hackathon' that welcomes creators of all skills, levels and disciplines to gather for one crazy weekend to make some truly cool games. Over 200 locations all across the world will host jammers from January 25-27 (Friday afternoon to Sunday evening, nonstop) to turn out record-breaking numbers of games.
Last year, the San Francisco GGJ site hosted close to 80 students, hobbyists, indies, and developers from companies like Zynga, Stupid Fun Club, PopCap, Playforge, and more. This year, we're hoping to more than double our number of jammers, and we've got an incredible lineup of sponsors making it possible:
MOZILLA GAME ON
