Every 14 seconds, a new business signs up for Google Apps
Join us for April’s meetup to find out why, and what this means for us the Google Developer community

  • Hear highlights from the recent Google Atmosphere on Tour roadshow
  • Explore developer fundamentals on building with Google Apps APIs and Apps Marketplace
  • Learn directly from experienced developers like Atlassian and Feynbrook on working with Google Apps

Speakers

Ashwin Srinivasan works as at Atlassian as a developer on the Atlassian OnDemand team. Atlassian OnDemand is a SaaS suite of developer tools that was integrated with Google Apps just in time for the Google Apps Marketplace launch in April 2010. The Atlassian Google Apps integration has been extremely successful, and in this presentation we'll look at the motivations behind the integration, the technical challenges we faced, the benefits that we've seen and the lessons we've learned in the process

Tony Brooks
leads Feynbrook in assisting organisations both in Australia and abroad to make the switch to a more connected workplace through Google Apps migration. With a wide variety of migrations from corporates to non-profits, Tony will present the highlights and challenges in making the move. Tony is also our co-organizer for the Melbourne Google Technology User Group

Hi Stuart - should be able to just come up in the normal lifts if it's before 6pm. If after 6, there will be a phone number to call, look for a note on the doors.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight, it should be a great session with lots of information to inspire any budding Apps API developers!

Thanks Leon, great suggestion, unfortunately I wasn't in Sydney this week, but will be there from the 19th April - 3 May. So if you do know of anything happening then that'd be great.
If anyone else is interested, I'll be in Sydney that week to attend the Connecting Up Conference for not-for-profit technology: http://www.connectingup.org/conference

For those attending the 17th April Google Atmosphere on Tour event here in Melbourne* look out for Tony and I at the event. I'll likely be wearing a GTUG t-shirt or Google Apps marketplace, for those who come up and say hello will receive a little Googley gift (limited supply, first come first served). *see: http://www.atmosphereontour.com/en/#event-melbourne

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
