Come Celebrate 25 years of Wine and Food Goodness in Charlotte! The Charlotte Wine and Food Festival Charlotte Weekend’s official Kickoff event for the[masked] season of fundraising is called “Motown @ Uptown”. Presented by Lexus, Capgemini, Aria Tuscan Grill, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Cayman Islands, it will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 6:30 pm --11:00 pm at Founders Hall located at 100 North Tryon Street.
The evening’s celebration will include exquisite wine from hundreds of winemakers, delicious food by Aria Tuscan Grill, exciting live and silent auction items and dancing to the live band “Sensational Sounds of Motown”. Great News...We will be GIVING AWAY a pair of tickets for the event. All you need to do is to like/follow the Festival on Facebook/Twitter and you will entered into a drawing for the tickets. Those that sign up will get event meeting details.

Three Charlotte area charities have been selected as the beneficiaries of Charlotte Wine & Food Weekend[masked] season of fundraising. The following organizations were selected for the vital services they provide in nourishing the mind, body and spirit of our community’s children by protecting and saving lives. The beneficiaries and designated programs for 2013 and 2014 are:
Council for Children’s Rights – Services for Abused and Neglected Children
Pat’s Place Family Advocacy Program
Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina Backpack Project for Kids

Tickets purchased at $125 per person include the party at Founders Hall and a parking voucher for Bank of America parking garage.
A new category of tickets called “Young Aficionados” is available at $75 each for ages 21-35 and includes the party at Founders Hall.
