CHARLOTTE, NC…At Taste of the Nation Charlotte, guests will enjoy tastings from 25 of the area's top chefs, restaurants and culinary schools - all of whom are coming together to donate their time, talent and passion to end childhood hunger.

Sample fine wines, specialty beers, and premium spirits, including an entertaining Mixologist Bar. Get shaken & stirred with Mixologist, Stefan Huebner at his make your own cocktail bar. He's one of the Queen City's finest.

Guests will also enjoy live music by Hot Sauce and silent & live auctions, including unique dining and other experiences.

VIP Guests will delight in savory cuisine and couture desserts by Johnson & Wales University and select fine wines and champagne in the VIP Lounge.

Proceeds from the event benefit Share Our Strength, Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina and the
Community Culinary School of Charlotte. 100% of ticket sales go directly towards ending childhood hunger.

Stefan Huebner, the night's featured Mixologist, has been working in the Cocktail business for more than 16 years and is currently the owner of Creative Cocktail Consultants.  You may have seen him behind the bar at many local Charlotte establishments, including Heist Brewery, Cosmos Café, Breakfast Club, Weegee’s Lounge, Mythos and Republic.   Some of his awards and accolades include 2012 QC Exclusive Bartender of the Year; 2012 Tito’s Vodka’s Best Bloody Mary winner; 2010 GQ Magazine’s and Bombay Sapphire’s Top Inspired Bartender; and,[masked] Taste of the Nation Event Mixologist.  He has been featured on WCNC’s Charlotte Today over 20 times and been see in numerous publications, including The Charlotte Observer, Creative Loafing, QC Exclusive, SouthPark Magazine and Ballantyne Magazine.
